Meet Dr. Aref
Dr. Aref, a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, will deliver advanced and compassionate oral surgery care to patients. Dr. Omar Aref joined Winter Haven Oral Surgery in 2025, bringing comprehensive training and a passion for exceptional patient care. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wayne State University, he earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2020 before completing his four-year residency at Meharry Medical College, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Aref is active in research and has presented at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Conference. Fluent in English and Arabic, he is committed to serving diverse patient populations and has participated in international surgical mission trips to Jamaica and Bangladesh.
